Speaking of golden and treats, I recently wore this outfit to Goldenrod Pastries. This local boutique pastry shop is female run and there truly is no place else like it in town. It's one of those local businesses that you feel fortunate to have in your town.
If you're in the Lincoln area I suggest you stop in. There is something for everyone in their pastry case (gluten free, dairy free, vegan). Get a treat and snap a pic for Instagram under their cool neon good life sign. On this visit I grabbed a rhubarb crumble-bun and berry linzer bar, both were OMG level delicious.
These spotted shorts from #ASOS are also OMG level. They are light, flowy and can be dressed up or down. I really like the paperbag waste detail on them. Here I paired them with a graphic #GirlPower tank, cropped jean jacket and red heels. I enjoy playing with casual and dressy elements within the same ensemble. Why be predictable?
I keep imagining these shorts with tights under them in the fall. I think they'll look adorable. This summer is going by so fast. It's starting to feel like fall will be here any minute, and I'm getting excited for fall fashion.
