Swing into Fall

It’s August and that means visions of fall are starting to dance in my head. Don’t worry — I’m not going to jump the gun and sweat through the next few months. I’ve got a transition plan.

Swing dresses! They are cute, flowy and perfect for in between weather. This retro floral print swing dress is giving me Marsha Brady vibes. Can‘t you see it worn as a top with a pair of bellbottom jeans when the weather gets cooler? Hello, flower child.

I love short flowy dresses with long sleeves because they can be worn with bare legs on warm days and with tights, leggings or even jeans when the weather turns cool. These dresses provide you with so many more options than a one and done styling.

POOF — now it’s in leopard. Crazy how a change of print can make such a big difference. It‘s a whole new vibe, but just as easy to wear. I did a late summer styling on both these dresses but how cute would this one look with black opaque tights and a pair of booties?

I can also picture this dress worn with distressed denim and some black combat boots for an edgier look. I think I’m about to fall in love with these dresses all over again when the temps drop.
