Suit Up

Let's talk jumpsuits. Specifically, let's talk plus size jumpsuits. I'm all for them. Much like a dress, they are your one and done option for getting dressed. And they look so chic. Effortlessly chic.

Let me just start off by saying that jumpsuits are not just for the tall and the skinny. Plus size brands like ASOS Curve know how to make jumpsuits that work for bigger bodies. The wrap detail on the top of this jumpsuit is two fold (hahaha) in it's appeal. Firstly, wrap styles are always flattering on curvier figures because they envelop your curves. Secondly, it makes for easy on/off functionality because yes, you do need to take the top down to go pee. There, I said it.

If you are on the fence about jumpsuits, I would recommend trying one with a pattern or print. A busy pattern may help to alleviate some of your anxiety about being on display in a jumpsuit. Share the spotlight with a bold print.

There are so many different styles of jumpsuit on the market. If you are just dipping your toe in the jumpsuit pond, pick one that fits your general aesthetic. There are some glorious, flowy wide leg jumpsuits. I opted for this one because I prefer a slimmer leg. I love the defined waist and pleating in the front. The fabric is a light, soft jersey. It's so comfortable. I rolled the legs to show off these fun Steve Madden knockoff sneakers from Target.

I basically feel like a fancy sporty lady baby in this outfit, and I like it. This jumpsuit really does pair well with a variety of footwear. I've worn it with heels, ballet flats and sneakers.

Do you wear jumpsuits? Where is your favorite place to buy them?
