Snow Leopard

It seems I just can't help myself. I promised on Instagram last week that my next blog post would not feature anything leopard print, but then it snowed and this look just emerged. So here it is, my fourth leopard look in a row. Sorry, not sorry.

This sheer yet sporty leopard print dress was a FOMO purchase from ASOS last year. This is the exact kind of piece that I snap up as soon as I see it because I know I'll never find anything like it again. It's just so unique, yet wearable. The sheer leopard overlay coupled with the amazingly unexpected red and white elastic on the waist (and the sleeves) make this dress beyond eye catching.

This dress pairs great with black leggings and boots when the weather is cold, snowing and blowing. It also looks great with bare legs and sneakers when it's not quite so cold out. Speaking of cold, this longline borg coat from ASOS that I featured in a previous blog is the best purchase I've made in a long time. It is so warm. I had snow blowing in my eyeballs during this shoot, but I wasn't the least bit cold. I love the way it looks with dresses. I always hate it when my dress is longer than my coat in the winter. It also looks great with jeans.

A red beret and matching red lip pulled the whole look together. I'm in love with this ensemble. I might just wear it to work tomorrow. Watch out, Monday.

I do understand that leopard print isn't for everyone. I am reveling in how popular it is at the moment. I think everyone should wear what they love though. If there is a color or pattern that you find yourself gravitating toward, I say go for it. Learning what you like is the first step to finding your own personal style, and there is no wrong way to dress yourself. Do you, and you'll always look great.
