I've been keeping an eye on the fashion forecast and it looks like we're about to be sent a whole lotta nudes. Nudes seem like a natural progression from the neutrals, like leopard print, that have been dominating the fall/winter trends. I'm not afraid of a little nude action, but I'll go ahead and put my own spin on it.

Nude tones are great because they look amazing on everyone and go with everything, even neon. I was immediately drawn to this dress, and not just because it's leopard print. It has fun pops of neon pink on the spots set against a basic nude backdrop. You can never go wrong with a classic leopard print, but I really do love an exciting twist.

Not only do nudes work with neons, they also layer beautifully with other nudes. Yes, nude on nude is a thing you should do. Tonal nudes look so chic and polished. Did you ever think a look that incorporated neon could look chic? The rich brown color of the coat looks gorgeous against the lighter nude color of the dress.

I feel like the '90s are giving way to the '80s again. I'm seeing lots of puff sleeves. Unfortunately it was 10º when I shot these photos and there was no losing the coat. If I had been able to operate sans coat you would have seen the cutest little sleeve poofs on this fabulous dress.

What trends are you looking forward to for spring/summer?
